Our questions appear to be very haphazard, so we need a precis - it's Oldsmobile-engined and the chassis is European, but not Italian. The question whether it was French was not answered, but I'm going to assume it's not from that country. My knowledge of British cars of that period suggests it's not from there, although I could be wrong  ;D.

The racing number on the car is a high one, so the entry for the event would have been large. This suggests a European hillclimb. Was the car constructed in Switzerland?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

SACO said he found new information after having answered no to my question about an Italian base, so I think it can't be dismissed.

All we need is an update from SACO to clarify what's right and what's wrong.

I have found several references to a sports-racing car built by Mean with an Oldsmobile engine and auto box, but that was in 1966 and I would have thought it would have been rear-engined.

Is this that car? (By all accounts it was a pig to drive, and usually finished up in the scenery.)
