Wendax

Fiat 1100 by Francis Lombardi?

SACO

Yes ! a Fiat , but I don't know the coach builder !
Have you more informations ?

Wendax

No, it was just an educated guess.

SACO

Doubtless  not Lombardi but I think that you can find !

Wendax

Thinking along different paths: Continental tires and "Phoenix Reifen" sign in the background. Is it a German coachwork, perhaps Wendler?

SACO

Doubtless a German coachwork !
Just the venue and you have the point !

Wendax

Should be IAA 1951 in Frankfurt:

SACO

Yes ! Fiat (1100/1400 ? ) Frankfurt show 1951 !
the car is not on your photo ???
Another point for Wendax !  :)

I think I found out who the coachbuilder of this convertible was. Rometsch displayed a one-off Fiat 1100 Cabriolet at the 1951 IAA. The response to it was positive enough to start a series of 50 Fiat 1400 Cabriolets showing a similar design (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=19422).

Drauz would make much more sense in my eyes as they were closely located and related to NSU-Fiat and postwar NSU.
The company even was bought by NSU in 1965...

Her is my (not longer available source) - this guy displayed the IAA of 1951 with several contemporary magazine scans back then:
