1908 Riley 12/18 V2 Rennwagen.  Sorry about the poor picture quality, can someone shrink it (perhaps that would help)?

Done

I'd say Rennwagen (race car) is not the correct description of the body type. Although a 12/18 took part at a rallye in 1908, the body is rather a tourer. Not sure whether the cylinder configuration (V2) was really part of the name.

Thank you for the point Bertrand.

And yes Gerd, I had the same thoughts you expressed.  However, after looking at several on-line sites,  I discovered that all used exactly the same description so I decided to go with it.  After giving it some more thought, I realized that all the sites I visited seemed to originate from the same exhibition, so the name/description probably came from the information taped to the windshield (see my posted photo), and thus may, or may not, be the "official" description of this vehicle.  My personal thought is that this particular car may have been modified for racing in some way(s) that may not be apparent in the photograph, such as tuned engine, altered gearing, etc.
