I seem to recall seeing this creation somewhere a few years ago, probably 2009-ish. If my memory serves me it was based on a Toyota pickup chassis and had a big V8 powering it - Chrysler? - and was built in the USA - of cedar wood by the look of it.

Impressive memory!
Yes, it was built in 2009 and is powered by a 318 cu in Chrysler V8.
Each to their own...!

"big V8".  hahahahahahaha

Well it is over 5 litres in European parlance, which makes it much bigger than average!

Whereas in the U.S., any V8 under 5.7 litres is considered "cute"

..and a "compact" was anything under 18 feet (Leviathan in European terms...)!
People always smile when I say my car has a "small block Ford V8" (a 289)!  They're totally miffed that a 4.7 litre engine can be described as "small"!
