Not Opel, but german, too.

What might be its model name if you see its body type?

One right answer, and the point is yours.

Kibo Sports?
Maybe based on a VW Polo? or a Ford (German) Fiesta?

Kibo Sport based on a VW Corrado?
I didn't think it was based on a Golf as the bonnet height seems to suit the Corrado better.

I think I´ll end the puzzle and give woodinsight the point.

It is the swiss Kibo Spyder, based upon a VW Golf 16V chassis.

Thank you Grob.
I felt as though I didn't really deserve the point as so much was guesswork.
Anyway I'm glad to see it finally solved as sure as you must be too.

It is based uopn a VW Golf II GTI 16V, so this must have been a lot of fun to drive.

I'd have to guess Japanese? Because of the Celica taillights...

It is a Kibo, but I still can't find it on search as a repost, so perhaps you can add the link.  I'll keep this locked to you, but to finish off the puzzle fully, can you name the car's maker and where it was built, as per my original question.  Thanks, and good luck.

OK, thanks CrazyAutopuzzler.  The link shows the model name (Kibo) and the country in which the car was made (Switzerland), so I will give you a point for this.  However, the original puzzle doesn't give the name of the company that made this Kibo, so I will leave this puzzle open for that last piece of information, before they can then be merged.

So, which Swiss company build the Kibo?
