For one point: Name That Car!

Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

No sold as a Saxon, nor by Saxon, though I suspect it started life as a Saxon.

I can't find anything about Saxon built under license, they were originally made by Chalmers but always carried the Saxon name.
Was it made outside USA?

I give up, I've been unable to find any other car maker that made an exact copy of the 1914 Saxon Model A roadster.
I found Saxons were built at the former Abbott-Detroit and later at the former Scripps-Booth factories but that's all that connects these names. If the puzzle car was a Saxon it would be 1914, because by 1915 the gas cowl head lamps had been replaced by standard front mounted electric lights.
Below is a picture of a 1914 Saxon Model A roadster and I can't find a single difference with the puzzle car other than the lack of a speedometer gear on the right front wheel, even the emblem on the radiator looks the same.

The non-automotive site from which I pulled this (cropped) picture may be incorrect. But the part of the photo that is cropped-out seems to corroborate their identification of the car.

Since it's either a modified, licensed or copied Saxon, I've given you a point.

Another point is on offer for anyone who can identify what's missing in this picture, and therefor, the rest of the story.

Was it named Abbott-Detroit or Scripps-Booth?
