Durocar Model L (1910)
« on: October 22, 2015, 07:44:41 AM »
Professional, 1 point for the one who gives me this car manufacturer.  I would also wish to know the model and the year, but having no way to confirm it, this it will be just for the fun.

The car shown is a Duro (or Durocar) by the Durocar Manufacturing Co., Los Angeles,California, USA.  It is a later model circa 1910-1911.  More details to follow as they become available.

Durocar produced vehicles from 1906, or 1907, until 1911.  The puzzle picture shows Durocar President William Varney at the wheel of what appears to be a 2? door 4/5 seat touring car.  I suspect it may be a 1910 Model L, which fits that description, although the Model L was a 2 cyl, and Durocar also announced a 4 cyl. - 50 hp car (model designation unknown) in 1910, so it might be one of those.  I have been unable to locate a photograph with the exact same body style which might be able to confirm the model designation.

Is anything modified/obscured in the puzzle pic?
