BERTRAND

From the other french speaking country in your neighborhood... ;)

In the side is posible to read L'Élégante, this name corresponds to a car dealer of Paris that used to sale cars made by Lacoste et Battman in Levallois between 1903 and 1907, the model names were as different as Napoleon, Régal or Speedwell, maybe the one in the picture is one of them.

grobmotorix

I´m sorry, but this is not a vehicle of Lacoste & Battmann  :-\

That´s the one!

Well, the german "Vorspannwagen" is the direct translation of "Avant Train".

And the company is indeed Collin from Courbevoir, who built this electric vehicle in 1903.

luisps

It doesn't seams electric, the first picture shows a starting cranck and in the German picture it's clear the presence of a petrol engine, and the bottom explanation mentions a radiator, could somebody clarify?

grobmotorix

Oh, my mistake.

Of course this one does have a starting handle and cannot be electric... :bag:
