does this have any corvette in it?  the quarterpanels kind of have that stingray look, as do the taillights.  nothing else though.

Ghia DeSoto Adventurer I from 1952, with 2+2 seats and styling by Virgil Exner, who used this concept car as his personal car for 3 years.

I've merged this with the original from pre-historic times, but unfortunately the original picture has long-since disappeared..
Maybe best to re-post mekubb's picture in the original post?
