From Czechoslovakia, it's the 1900/1901 Nesselsdorfer Rennzweier.

Bam!

Very good - but this photo shows it is in a kind of later life.

Who owned it and which was it´s purpose after its race career?

LOCKED for you!

The car was built for, and raced by, Baron Theodor von Liebieg (Liebig).  I understand that after its racing days, it was converted into an "accompanying vehicle".  I'm not sure exactly what an "accompanying vehicle" is, but, since this car, and its successor, were raced between cities, I assume that an "accompanying vehicle" was some sort of service vehicle which accompanied the racers, and carried repair parts, etc.

Well - I do not want to torture you.

So I give you that point for the make, model and name of its driver.

According to my source, Baron von Liebieg used this converted race car to travel into his honeymoon holidays with his wife Marie Blaschka in 1901!

The construction at the rear is just a luggage rack, not a bed.  8)
