CHADI-2 - a sports-tourist car. Its design is executed on the basis of knots and units of serial cars and motorcycles. The engine and coupling is of type М-72. The transmission, front and rear bridges and steering are taken from car Моskvich 407. The capacious trunk is located in a back of the car. While manufacturing the bodywork a full-scale plaster model of the car was made preliminary. Its surface after careful furnishing was covered with a thin layer of paraffin. Then started a multilayered (10 layers) pasting of model using fiberglass material.
The frame is made of elliptic welded pipes. The car develops the maximum speed of 100 km/h [62 mph], consumption is 7 l of fuel for 100 km [~ 35 mpg]. It weights - 500 kg [1101 lbs], length - 4180 mm [165 in], height - 1630 mm [64 in], width - 1050 mm [41 in]. Wheelbase of the car - 2240 mm [88 in], clearance - 150 mm [6 in].
