Built in the U.S., based on an American car brand.  Never raced at Indy, and not created for racing.

Is it pre-war or is it a pre-war looking car on a modern chassis ?

Modern creation on a pre-war chassis.

I've been unable to find the car, but I do know the chassis is from a 1925/28 Buick, the rear cantilever springs are unmistakable.

LOCKED for ropat53 to find the name of the car.  I have it as a 1929 Buick.  There are many pictures of this car online, but very little information about it.

I found it, 1929 Buick Poulsbo Special. The chassis could be 1929, but the straight 8 is much newer.
The car has a Honolulu Automobile Club badge and most of the pictures I found on the Internet were shot at the Pacific Raceways in Kent WA, that's all I was able to find.
Below 1940's or 50's Buick Fireball?

One point awarded to ropat53 for the correct answer.

You found all the information which is available online about this car.  I am in the same state as the city of Poulsbo, and I have been unable to find any additional facts about this car.  I found 20 or so pictures on Flickr, but that is about all.
