I only found an online ad of it. I guess that there is not a big company behind it, rather a skilled craftsman. I just know the car's name mentioned in the ad and the engine used for it.

Let's try to get this one solved.
The name I have consists of two parts: xxx xxxxx
The first part is often used with homebuilt cars of this country of origin.
The second one seems to be somehow derived from what it appears to be.
The engine is from a now defunct European maker.

It is a five-letter word and you are thinking in the right direction. I couldn't find that it is a Polish word with a meaning of its own. I think it is rather a name, but part of it is a well known word in connection with the car's appearance.
