Thanks for the lock Gerd. I was afraid that you were going to require a model number, as I was pretty sure that it was a Henschel, but the one reference picture I had only said: "Henschel truck". After some digging today, I managed to come up with a list of Henschel model numbers. Unfortunately the list has no related pictures, so I can't be sure which of several possibilities corresponds to the puzzle truck. I'll take a chance, and say the puzzle truck is a: Henschel type 3to, from about 1926.

The year is correct, but it is not a Henschel 3 to. If we are looking at the same list, you will find the answer soon.

Well if the year is correct, it must be a: Henschel 5B1 from 1926.

Well, it is the Type 5 B 2 with a longer wheelbase, but I won't split hairs.
