1905 Aries 30 HP Tourer with Baron Henri Petiet at the wheel and the sculpture is a Bronze representing "the crowning of the motorist." Signed E. PINCHON (Foundry Alexis RUDIER Paris) and was part of the COLLECTION OF BARON PETIET.

A race was held in December 1905 through the streets of Paris in which an Aries was the gold medal winner for gasoline cars (a Vedrine won for electric cars), but I haven't been able to locate the name of the driver of the Aries. Is this the race you are looking for?

Aries' first successful racers won the Circuit des Ardennes, the Coupe de la Presse, and the Coppa Florio in Italy, but all these races were in 1907, not 1905.
