I've found the information in a book about Czech motosport. It says the car has got an IFA engine, Aero Minor gearbox and Jawa 250 suspension elements. Body was inspired by Tatra T605. I'll post a scan of the article tonight (got no time right now).

OK, I'm sure it has all those things but I just have it as the Gbelec Sport from 1960.

I found a pic of the same car (with same driver with same helmet) at a Czech Historic Festival and the entry list states it as a 1959 IFA-Gbelec

Spider Gbelec has Wartburg 992 cc engine and was built in 1957.

This is very interesting. Karel Repa in his book, Premiery Nadseni claims that Alois Gbelec built this car in 1960 with an "IFA aka Wartburg 850 cc" engine. It can't be true as there was no such engine.

However, we already had a Gbelec-designed Wartbureg Formula Junior monoposto, the Mrkev from 1962 which was powered by a Wartburg 900 cc engine:
http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=12639.10
and we also had another Gbelec creation from 1957 with a 990 cc Wartburg engine:
http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=5310.5

My guess that this car was built in 1960, based on the 1957 design

Karel Repa's book was also my source for solving this puzzle. About the engine : the author says that the engine was "prevlozkovan" (the cylinder sleeves have been changed), which can explain the difference in displacement compared to a stock IFA unit. It's a common practice to adapt existing engines to motorsports regulations.
