This was an extremely challenging and fun puzzle for sure.
I salute Arunas for his very clever disguise of the photo and Gerd for solving the puzzle.
Based on the Maple Leaf display around the original photo of the car, which I thought was "genuine", I did a lot of research on the use of the Maple Leaf as a symbol. Obviously, Canada is famous for it's flag but I found numerous other uses for the leaf.
The one that seemed to fit the best is the requirement in Estonia that a person who is a learning/inexperienced driver must display in their vehicles window, a Maple Leaf notice which I assume is a plastic sticker glued to the rear windscreen or the rear of the vehicle. I have posted the official protocol photo sheet of various such stickers below and the Maple Leaf is in the top row. This is why suggested Estonia.
As well, in doing a lot of research on Vauxhall vehicles in perhaps 15 countries, I Googled a number of Vauxhall Owner/Enthusiast clubs web sites which led to more web sites and on and on and on. As is known here, one of my main research interests is wheeled military vehicles 1935-1945 and I found a lot of new photos and information on Vauxhall/Bedford military vehicles on some of these sites.
So, another good adventure..............
