Home-built chassis?

I'm afraid I don't know where the chassis came from, just the engine.

Monks kit car

Would you have a picture of one of those?
I don't know them so I can't say whether this is related or not; that name wasn't mentioned on the site I got this picture from.
What engine did they have?

Yes, predictive text can have disastrous consequences:

This certainly bears a strong similarity to the Monza, but I would say no, it doesn't use a Monza body.  If it does I'm not aware of it and it's not one of the puzzle questions anyway...!

Looks like the sort of car Cruella Deville's son would drive. ;) :D

Carnut

Staring at it I would say it might use a modified Monza body, but that's not part of the answer anyway...

Professionals then?

Indeed!

Below is the car on display at Donington plus a bit if detail about it, from which it can be seen that it is fact derived from the Monza body..

If it looked sort-of familiar that because it began life as the Formula 27 KR Roadster before passing to YKC when they bought out Steve Porter's company and in turn to Image Sportscars (Image Monza) where Ford cylinder and bike engines were ditched in favour of GM LS7 V8
