I won't ask for the base car. ;)

For one point, please respond and tell me where and when one could find this contraption.

Is it a shore of a river in the background or is it by the sea?

A German-speaking part of Switzerland? Is this what we British call Lake Constance, aka the Bodensee?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Presumably it's just a tourist bus (and not transport for Zurich's gnomes  :lmao:). I'm guessing around 1950.

It was not just a tourist bus. It was meant as public transport with a fixed route and a schedule. 1950 is almost correct.

I'll try 1949. Was it used by ferry companies to transport passengers to embarkation points?

It was not run by a ferry company, but one of the stops was an embarkation point.

So that'll be 1948. Alhough your original question did not ask, I think you need the use of the "bus" - was it a scheduled bus service round the lake, with stops at villages, towns etc as well as the ferry points? It seems to be standing on what we call in the UK a metalled road, rather than a beach.

1948 is correct. To obtain the point, you just have to name the village where this train operated.
