Solved TGF-428: Daimler 20/30 hearse, 1931.
« on: October 23, 2014, 05:11:11 AM »
Can you tell me what is this car?  I don't know the coachbuilder's name, so make and model are enough to get a point.

Given the full-on view of a coachbuilder's backside, and precious little else, is there anything actually on this image  which would identify the underpinnings as, say, uniquely Armstrong-Twiddleyesque as opposed to pure Humbug?

I'll just have to run through the models, starting with the 30/40

Is 1933 correct?

Please unlock so we can cover all the models quicker

Please unlock this.
As I don't know my Daimlers, all I can do is run through the list of models from Wikipedia.  If you unlock it, it will give those who know more than me a chance.

Not a 25; the year I have is 1931 but '30 could be correct as well.

Not a 15, 20, or 25.  Is it a 35?

That's it...a hearse built on a 20/30 Daimler chassis from 1931. Tomorrow I will post the picture of the side.
