Exactly correct. I can't help thinking that wicker bodywork would have been uncomfortable against bare flesh, and maybe would have smelled in wet weather.

I just found this - the company existed for 2 years 1915-16, and in the latter year they replaced the wicker body with a normal steel item.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia
