I don't know the car. I have a theory about but that's all.
The man was linked to a specific car, but not a Crosley.

I don't think.
There was a slight connection with Crolsey, after all.

Yes!
I can't find the right car.
I know he made several prototypes (and one was Crosley-engined) but can't find the one that matches with the car of the picture.

Yes, the puzzle is solved now. You found the man and the car.
I'd like to see that prototype, because it looks so different from the others.
Do you know more about?

The size and shape of the windows are consistent with the drawings on Hall's patent documents. Perhaps it was an early prototype of the Model 116.

Perfect! I had several patents but couldn't find this!
Well done, point for you.

BTW: is there anyone who can explain the relations between T. Hall's Convair, built in 1946 as Model 116 and 1947 as Model 118 (but there was a prototype Model 111 around 1945) for Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation in San Diego, California  and T. Hall's Aerocar, built in 1946 for Southern Aircraft Corp. (SAC) a division of Portable Products Corp in Texas?

The 111 "Air Car" was much more of a conventional airplane, though it had somewhat coupe-like styling.

Yes, but both the Aerocar from Texas of 1946 and the Convaircar Model 116 of the same year had a Franklin engine and were built by T. Hall.
Here's another 116:

It will remain a mistery, I guess.

I believe T. Hall's Aerocar vehicle, built in 1946 for Southern Aircraft Corp, was called 'Roadable'...and there was the Airway, built by T.Hall for Ayrway Motors, Sand DIego, California....
