This car was built for a precise purpose...it was part of a bigger project never realized.
It was not a replica of any car and you can see yourself that is not styled generically after a car of any era....but........

I reckon the background suggest somewhere like one of the Spanish islands - was this car intended to be part of a fleet of taxis for tourists on somewhere with limited traffic?
