9288: LOMAS
Herbert Lomas Ltd, Ambulance Specialists, built a Range Rover ambulance in 1972.
Interesting find, but not the one I have...do you know where were they based in?
In Handforth, Wilmslow, Cheshire, United Kingdom.
OK, I still can't confirm it's the same but I have an idea.
For the moment I have to say it's not that, unless you have something more about...
I can't find anything else, so please #2560.

OK, now I can tell you what I'll do:
I'll take 10 more credits BUT, since the LOMAS I have was built in Knutsford, Cheshire, 9.5 miles from Handforth it can be related.
According to a couple of books they built a Formula Vee. I'm not home now, please remind me to look there and see if there is also the slightes hint about and I'll give you back 10+3+21 credits.

The Knudsford Lomas seems to have been Harold Lomas, stockcar racer in the 1970s. I can't say whether he is related to the Lomas coachbuilder family.

Once upon a time I though that Georgano was quite a complete list of car manufacturers...but now I begin thinking otherwise!  This New York Automobile is the fourth name about which I didn't find a single word!...And another one about which is almost impossible to make a web research.
I quit again...may I have 12016?

I'd like to pass and go for 11285

SCAD (2): Stephan Ceschia's Barchetta.

11285: OMLID

In 1907 the Aneta Panorama wrote, "Halvor Omlid is nearly through with his auto, and he will go some when he gets it ready." - this was in North Dakota, USA

I'd like to go for 1026 please

Not complete but an excellent starting point.
New York Automobile Company was incorporated in Westfield (!), New Jersey in 1900.

Can I try #6000 please

FOX (4)
Been away for a while as we had company over New Year.

Is this the Fox Motor Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1921-23
Not that...
The 4-cylinder Fox produced by ML van der Eyken, at Neuilly, Seine from 1912-14 or at Piteaux, Seine from 1919-23
Not that...
I'll have to pull out of this one and take the penalty.

Can I try 5930 please?

11011:NEW WAY

Tricky one, but I've found this:

Frank Clark sold his Clarkmobile business to New Way Motor Company in 1905. This company made New-Way car. It is also said that the last three units of Clarkmobile were also sold by this company.

Next: 12021, please.

1026:AUDY MARINE

I wish I would have more free time, but now that ship has sailed.

Audy Marine was a British boat builder, located on Hayling Island. In the 1970s they offered a VW-based kit car, called Zeta and for a short while they took over the Baja GT buggy project.

My next number will be 15048. Thanks
