Oh...I forgot to add that some makers are fully covered even if they are quite 'small' and some big names have very few models listed, because I do not need to file them...you'd be surprised to know which one is my top maker #7 or 23, for example...and BMW was 26.

15400: UNIVERSAL MOTOR

This one ? If I'm right, please give me 15451.  Thanks !
Not that.

Late 50s...probably 1958.
I don't think that it is the Universal Motor Gerät known as Unimog.  May I have another clue ?

I think I need a clue...
Despite the name, it should be from Italy.

Oh boy ! I'm heading for the Minotaurus.  Let's try 8900...

Was it a promotional vehicle for Onondaga Dragway, Michigan?

Right or wrong, can I please have 9844 as my next number

If you wan to play till the end you can have your time.
I hope you'll be able to post at least once a day to keep it going at a reasonable pace.
Please note that, in case someone reaches 1000 with less than 45 numbers, or a top maker in less than 20, these will be the new limits.

Two for the price of one :

1) H. Lessieux et Cie was a French manufacturer based in Rethel which marketed automobiles from 1911 to 1903 under the name of L'Ardennaise
2) Maison Demorgny began in 1901 the production of automobiles under the name of L'Ardennaise.  It ended in 1905

There is no relation between these two manufacturers.

Am I right or is it another Italian 3-wheeler ?  :lmao: 1200 would be my next choice

Ultramobile: Voiture Ultramobile, Paris, 1908, a car probably connected with Oldsmobile Curved Dash, with a 4 cyl. 6-12 hp engine.
My next request is 10525, thank you.
P.s. About my previous post, I'm sorry if it seemed I wanted to be polemicous, your quiz is so amazing and interesting that I really didn't mean to contest its rules, just wanted to tell my hope that this quiz will be won by the best quizzer.

I read it the right way, then.  ;)
I thought at all the possible problems but didn't expect a rush like that...It was planned to be a long puzzle and in the meantime I was keeping shifting the list.
You can't imagine the hard work to answer each post (updating several lists of scores, numbers, attempts, makers...), checking the +\-50 rule AND keep working on that list to avoid the problem you reported.
Between my replies I've been able to insert dozens of new makers in few days to make it harder..but it's a pleasure since you like it!  ;D
