Even though it is not connected to Piaf, I need to establish the identity of Dashboard 10.  Was my first hunch correct (Posr #24) correct, that Dashboard 10 is a custom layout for an MG?

The Dashboard 10 is not from an MG, stock or customized. But your guess in post #24 was heading in the right direction.

Losing some speed on this one. I think you are in need of a few hints (not in any chrono- or logical order, but one for each missing combination):
- Manfred Mann's Eskimo
- Think small!
- Wet goal for a Broken English girl on a motorcycle
- Ich bereue nichts!

 ;D

I'm not sure about the other clues yet, but "Ich bereue nichts" is German for "Je ne regrette rien", probably the most famous song performed by Girl F, Édith Piaf.

Her stage name came from a nickname she was given when she was younger, "piaf" being a dialectical word meaning sparrow, or a small bird in general. So to follow the logic, we need a German sparrow. I've just been looking up my Langenscheidt, and one German word for sparrow is "Spatz", which links to Dashboard 12. Originally designed by Egon Brütsch, the Spatz was made under licence and modified by Harald Friedrich of Altzmetall, marketed by Bayerishe Autowerke GmbH, formed in conjunction with the Victoria motorcycle company, and was later sold as the Victoria 250.

To summarize the info on the missing ones:

We have left over the dashboards 3, 7 and 10.
We know that dashboard 10 is not from a MG, but is somehow connected to a MG Midget.

Still waiting for the connection are girls A, C and G.
Some more hints:
Girl A is not personally important, but what she portrays.
Girl C is easily recognizable, the connection refers to the context she is shown in.
Girls G are not personally important, but the car they are sitting in.

We still have the clues:
- Manfred Mann's Eskimo
- Think small!
- Wet goal for a Broken English girl on a motorcycle

Who will snatch the last three points?

Having trouble identifying the cars but as a starter Girl A is Rachael Weisz as Snow White in a photo by Annie Liebovitz.
Snow whjite was of course known for living with 7 dwarfs..
Dash 7 seems to belong to a car which might be driven by a dwarf but I can't identify it..  But the connection would be Dwarf (think small!)

Manfred Mann's Eskimo was of course Quinn.  Anthony Quinn (known for starring in films set in or financed by Libya) starred in 'Ulysses' with Libyan actress Rosanna Polesta, so is she girl C?  And does Dash 3 belong to a Libyan-assembled car?  Is Libya the connection?

Am I on the right track with either of these?

Wet Goal must be an anagram but of what?  Lowgate?!  I can't find anything about that..
Girl on a Motorcyle starred English singer/actress Marianne Faithfull.
Any connections here or am I following a blind alley?!

Snow White and the dwarfs is correct. Just think of another name for a dwarf and you have part of the car's name. It's not dashboard 7, by the way.

Anthony Quinn is correct, but not Ulysses, not Rosanna Polesta, and Lybia is not the connection.

You are right about Marianne Faithfull and the movie. Just find out where she is heading with her motorcycle...

I'm still only finding half answers, but Girl C is Sophia Loren in a still from the 1954 film "Attila", which she starred in with Anthony Quinn. He played Attila the Hun, and she played a character called Honoria. I'm probably being stupid, but I still can't get any further with it.

Girls G are sitting in a Siata Patricia, but again I haven't made any progress.

And Marianne Faithfull was heading for Heidelberg on her motocycle, but I still seem to be heading nowhere...  :-\

Right, so it's Girl A Snow White and Dash 10, an early MG Midget, the connection being the little people!

I came up with that film too but dismissed Girl C as Sophia Loren because it was made 60 years ago and she already looks too old to be a young Sophia Loren!  She's still alive and sitll beautiful isn't she?  Did she really look like that 60 years ago?!

Attila is the important part.  :)

And what is the name of the "wet part" of Heidelberg?  ???

So the Girl on a Motorcycle was heading for Heidelberg, which stands on the River Neckar.
Dashboard 3 is a Fiat-based Neckar and the vehicle in Girls G is a Fiat-based Siata.
So there is the connection between Dash 3 and Girls G!
I thought of this one on my drive home before I saw  your 'wet part of Heidelberg' clue!

Dash 10 looked like a J2/3 Midget but I must say the wheel looked out of place and now you mention it it does look far too new.  It doesn't look like a King Midget either so I'll have to dig deeper to find another Midget to make that Girl A and Dash 10 connection..

Well the "wet part" of Heidelberg is the Neckar and NSU made a car of that name, and dash 3 may well be that, but I can't prove it.
Snap!!

I think Carnut is correct regarding 3 & G, he just types faster than I do.  Dashboard 3 could be (I can't prove it) a Necker Jagst, which is based on a Fiat 600.  Girls G is a Siata Patricia, also based on a Fiat 600.  So the connection would be Fiat 600.

If A & 10 is correct, that only leaves C and 7.  I was on to Attila ages ago, but I can't seem to pair it with anything, and I can't figure out what Dashboard 7 might be, although it appears to be from some sort of electric golf cart type vehicle.

The pair 3 and G is correct, and dashboard 3 is from a Neckar, but the model is still to be found, and the connection isn't correct yet. Regarding my hints I won't lock it.

Dash 10 must be a King Midget?
There we have the Midget connection 10 and A?
The pair 10 and A is correct, too, the midgets / dwarfs being the connection. But still not the right midget.

C and 7 surely make the last pairing. Dashboard 7 is from some sort of golf cart type vehicle, but not electric.

In fact the Siata Patricia was based on a SEAT 600 rather than a Fiat.
So is the connection that both the Neckar and the Siata were derived from cars made under licence from Fiat?

Might Dashboard 3 be from a Neckar (Mistral?)-NSU/FIAT-Siata 1500 TS?  If so, the connection to Girl G would be Siata.

That's it. The dashboard is from a Neckar 1500 TS, a German-assembled Fiat 1500 with a Siata engine.

Dashboard 7 might be from a Piaggio Ape ( Model B?), but, if so, I can't make any connection to Attila (Girl C).  Perhaps one of the team can figure it out.

No Piaggio in there.
