Good enough for me. My source says 1912, but you're close enough. I think the engine was designed by Fred Duesenberg.

Thanks Andy.  Yes, I believe that the Mason racing car used a 4-cylinder "walking beam" engine designed by Fred Duesenberg, who worked for Mason at the time.
