Back to historic motor sport. What is this car, and who is driving it?

Now that really was a long, blind shot! We've had that car before, and I solved it!

Not Austin either, but you're getting in the right direction.

Wolseley based?

Not that marque either, but you're still on the right lines.

Yes, a woman driver. IMO not as well-known as Kay Petre, but she was from a well-known family, and married a well-known man!

Not her. And the car was not referred to as an anything "special".

Well done Esteban! I think Allan Lupton must be offline!

Barbara and Peter Skinner were the children of SU owner Carl Skinner and he gave them 2 very special Morris Minor cars which had been highly tuned and supercharged. Barbara's car was white and known as "The White Minor" and her brother's car was red.

By the time this photo was taken Barbara had married John Bolster.*

(*I dread to think what after-dinner stories she heard from her husband - hopefully the ladies withdrew to another room when the gentlemen had their port and cigars.)
