Yet another racer from me. What is this car, and what is the story behind it?

Difficult - all cars from that era look the same!

Is it a MacNamara?  If so, I'll follow up with the story.

I have found the car, it is a Lynx Formula Junior raced by Bob Holden at Longford in year 1962. Do you need more info?

Correct, Locked for you to tell me who built the car, and who originally designed it. (That's the "story" I mentioned at the start).

This is what I have found, I hope this was what you are looking for.

Lynx Engineering Ltd was founded by Leon Thomas, John Bruderlin and Peter Wilkins, a skilled fabricator, early in 1960 and the first Lynx racing car was completed on 20th November 1960. It was created from their own designs, jigs and patterns plus those that Peter Wilkins had bought from Ron Tauranac that were intended for kit RALTS before Tauranac went to England to join Jack Brabham. A total 16 cars of various types were built. Peter Wilkins then followed Ron Tauranac to England to work for Jack Brabham on the design and production of the Brabham FJ cars.

Yes! Well done, that was not really easy. Although the Lynx was a popular production FJ car in Australia, it was originally going to be a sort of kit-car (I don't think Ron Tauranac was interested in building cars for other people) but he never got round to finalising the project before Jack Brabham called him to the UK. So Wilkins took over the project, and Tauranac went on to greater things with the MRD, Brabham and Ralt marques.

Well solved.
