I have this picture in my "Etceterini" folder... it's from 1952 Giro di Sicilia... but the number is different... I've to find the correct race now...

Yes! It looks like the Mucera brothers were racing the same car for many years. You have the car, driver and race correct - Giuseppe Mucera at the wheel finished 18th overall and first in the 1500cc sports car class. Mind you, he was the only finisher in his class - the opposition consisted of 3 Osca MT4 cars and none other than Umberto Maglioli in a Porsche 550RS, so it isn't difficult to work out that these cars all retired.

And we should add that the car had some minor body changes during its life... in the picture from 1952 the fenders are different and the lights are out of the grille, while in 1957 there was a larger grille over them...

Yes. I'm fairly sure that it's the same car. I suppose they just modified it over the years to try to remain competitive.

Another picture of the same car at Targa Florio 1948.  The second car (PA 12619) is a different one, I suppose it is a Fiat 1100 based;  I understand that in 1948 Mucera prepared three cars for Targa Florio, two 1100 and a 1500 sport.
