Not Swallow, but it was British-based. I understand that the special-bodied cars were sold alongside regular models at Morris agents.

We have already established that the base car is a Morris 8hp.

Calshot Special?

We have a winner! I knew that the Pros wouldn't take long - I'm just trying to clear out some "dead wood" in my puzzles. I can't understand why the Experts didn't take it one step further when they knew what the base was. Just one Google and two clicks, and "Shazam!".

The car on the right is a Morris Family 8 Calshot Tourer. This is an actual car, rather than an artist's impression!
