This is a 1932 Lancia Dilambda. This particular car is known as the MM Roadster. I don't know what the MM refers to.

That's what I was thinking too, and a Lancia came 8th overall that year, a Lambda fitted with a Dilambda engine and driven by Strazza/Gismoli. Sadly, I can't find any photos of this car in period. That chassis looks awfully short for either model. No mistaking the front suspension, though.
