Has it got a 2CV/Ami/Dyane chassis, perhaps?

Made by some company or home-built?

This is the Hudson Mystic (also sometimes incorrectly called the Mystic Spirit).

The Mystic was a four-wheeled version of the Renault R5-based Hudson Free Spirit (one-seater) and Kindred Spirit (two-seater) three-wheeler British kit car.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

The point goes to Djetset for the correct answer.  (Year is implied answered, as you specified the exact car.)

I included this puzzle, because it was an interesting expansion of the Hudson 3-wheelers.  From the front it is similar to the trikes, but from the rear, it looks like nothing else.
