According to the information I've got, it's not a replica, but it's a fairly recent reconstruction using old genuine parts.

You say partially American, but it seems to have SU carbs. So is the chassis American?

In fact, maybe the angle of the camera has confused me, but is that a Devin D body?

I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

The chassis is not American. It's not a Devin body either.

That locker to the right appears to have the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything!  :lmao:

Is the chassis European?

Yes, the chassis is European.

Don't focus on the locker though, it doesn't contain anything relevant ;)

Was it a design from a well-known small-volume maker, or is it a one-off ?

The original body was made by a well-known small-volume manufacturer but this version is unique.
The chassis is from a well-known brand.

Yes. Consider the chassis and the engine as a whole.

So, to sum it up : this car has an American body over a complete European chassis.

Caribee is the answer. Here's a point for you.

It is indeed the only Caribee roadster, all others are fixed head coupés.
