I has been lucky while I was looking for the wendax German race cars and I have found this puzzle photo but I am not sure about information because the page is in German and the google traduction is not good enought for me to be sure about what it means.

I think it is an eigenbau built by Walter Torreck from a German district called Kroog. The photo did not say the year I post the German information for some one that can speak german

Nach dem Krieg baute sich der Krooger Siedler
Walter Torreck, Zeppelinring 161,
in einer Bauzeit von 1 1/2 Jahren sein eigenes Auto.
Es wurde vom TÜV-Hamburg in Kiel abgenommen.

Well done!  I believe Walter Torreck was from Hamburg or the Hamburg area.

You seem to have a high success rate stumbling across answers whilst looking for something else..
I have to confess I spend far too many hours trawling the whole World Wide Web looking for new puzzles and only maximum twice have I stumbled across and answer to another puzzle in 5 years!  You'll have to tell me your secret..

According to the source, Walter Torreck was a settler in Kroog, which is part of Kiel now. Kiel is the capital of the northernmost German federal state, Schleswig-Holstein. After one and a half years of building this car, the tests for the registration were done in Kiel by TÜV-Hamburg.

I know Kiel well as it's at the eastern end of what we call the Kiel Canal and you call the Nord-Ostee Kanal; I've been there many times!
