Another one for the Rookies!  What is it exactly?

ANYONE FOUND GIVING ANSWERS OBTAINED BY USING GOOGLE SEARCH BY IMAGE MAY BE BANNED FOR AN INDETERMINATE PERIOD!

The gorgeous Apollo 3500 GT of 1962.
This looks like a pre production car as the ordinary ones had side windows near the rear.
