It's been pointed out to me that this is actually a repost!
Previously it just had a name and no more information so now I'm just asking for its motive power and what the builder's profession was.  Once they are correctlly identified I'll merge it (I never actually knew its name..)

It's the Vulpes V6, built by Glenn Wilkins in 2007 in the UK. Not entirely sure of the powerplant but I'm guessing a Ford V6

You've got 2 pieces of info I didn't have (the car's and the builder's names) but I'm looking for 2 pieces of info that so far I haven't been given.
But since you know this car I'll lock it for you to dig into and see if you can find out what the engine is (it's a V6 but not a Ford) and what Mr Wilkins did for a living (which might explain his design).

I found an ad with a different picture that states that it is a Honda v6 2.7l mid-engined car with double front and rear wishbones, composite fiberglass body, and that it was built by an aero engineer. It's an unfinished project, 90% complete, and was offered for sale at GBP1,500.  I even have the phone number of the owner if anyone's interested  :)

That is correct, but actually this was locked for Quiller..

I have to merge this now with the original, which actually was Quiller's own puzzle so hopefully Mr Quiller will not mind the outcome.
