Any idea who did this and what it represented, for 1 point?:

The artist was Raymond Ring but the purpose I'm not sure.  I believed either possibly for advertising or a toy line when I saw them.

That's the guy, yes.
I think it was something to do with possible future cars (real ones!) but I'm not 100% sure.
