OK, here goes, from 2003 : -
"Photo received from ... (Australia) who saw this car with a Bradford badge for sale in a yard in Queensland. From the appearance of the radiator grille, the small headlamps and wheel pattern, we would say that the car in the photo is a home made 2 seat 'special' based on a mid/late forties Jowett Bradford commercial chassis. Bradfords were based on a two cylinder 7HP 1939 Jowett car."
Wikipedia: The Jowett Bradford was a British light van that was produced from 1946 to 1953 by Jowett Cars Ltd of Idle, near Bradford, England. The vehicle was also available as an estate car from 1947 to 1953. The vehicle was based on the pre-war Jowett Eight and was the first Jowett to be re-introduced after the Second World War. (except that it was the seven not eight).
But then this info spoils the fun for the others!!
