Was easy to find... 1957 Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS Special by Touring, it has a rather strange tail...

That's it, yes.
I was intrigued that you thought it looked like an Alfa 1900 CSS because I didn't think that with that front it looked like any sort of Alfa at all..!

May be the front is not typically Alfa 1900 but the overall picture was 100% Alfa to me ! The color also helped...

It's a spoiler but I'm sure it doesn't date from the 1950's!
Someone of questionable taste clearly seems to think it's a good idea to customize a Touring-bodied Alfa 1900 CSS..
I don't know if the front was always like that with no Alfa shield either; maybe the same person in modern times thought it might improve the frontal appearance to take the shield away?  I certainly haven't seen any period pictures of a Touring Alfa looking like this; has anyone else?
