And it's not unsolveable.  After all, I arrived at the site quite by chance!

No.
Don't know of any cars from there, but I suppose there must be some!

Of course, yes - Jehle!  I should have remembered.

I wonder how many Grand Duchies there are?
Anycase, this is definitely not from any of them!

Regardless of from where the site is, please lets get our political geography straight, Liechtenstein is a Principality and the only Grand Duchy that exists today is Luxembourg.

Exact.  But I had a vague souvenir about a site showing cars made by a fictive Grand Duchy,  The same happens with coins issued by fictive states.

Maybe it was the same place where Peter Sellers, reigned, ruled and led the army? ;D

I think you're referring to this one, where you listed all the models made by Monteluci in the fictional Grand Duchy of von Luxemburg!:

Yes, Monteluci.  But the puzzle car is completely different.

You're right; it's not a Monteluci!

Was it built by an other fictional nationstate ?

No, the address on the website could be a perfectly feasible genuine place.

A long long shot: was this internet joke (if that's the correct term) called a Pignatelli?

Was this car ever built for real or just a proposal of some kind ?

it's a site which gives names to various different cars including this Maserati, claiming they were made by them!  It's not fraudulent at all, just someone having some fun.
That's not the famous Goldth kg site that claimed the Eyston diesel record-breaker as their own is it?
If it is, I cannot find it now.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Yes it was.  It is a 1952 Maserati A6GCS.  But the answer to this puzzle is a website that claims it is something else.  And using "Search by image" to find the site is still prohibited.

When I compare wheels and the steering wheel with other A6GCS photos, I think, some proportions may be wrong.

Is this by chance a kind of early Maserati (works?) replica?

It's none of the sites mentioned.
The puzzle picture is, I'm sure, a Maserati, but it might perhaps have been photoshopped a bit.
In any case, whether or not the picture is a Maserati that's not the answer to the puzzle!
For interest below is another car they say they made/make and which bears their own name!:
