I'm surprised this hasn't been a previous puzzle. What do we see here?

TEC MEC MASERATTI

Sorry serra, not one of my usual FJ selections, because it IS the TecMec. Named after the engineering company Studio Tecnica Meccanica, it was originally an attempt by Maserati to build a lighter and thus more competitive 250F, but when the racing team disbanded the project was taken over by Valerio Colotti in 1958. It still had no chance against the more powerful Ferraris and Vanwalls, and the nimbler Coopers. It raced only once, in the 1959 US GP, but retired.
