Probably based on a C3 Corvette.  The wheelbase, engine type, suspension type, and windshield all seem to fit.

I have it saved as the Distant Star. Not much additional info about it available since it may has never been put into any kind of production / manufacturing.

I'm quite happy for Arunas to get the point, but it's from 1980, and powered by a Chevrolet 350ci V8, 4-barrel carb.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

That should be CAF, Inc. from Newton, Massachusetts. I don't know what does CAF stand for, however.

This is what I have on this:

1980 Distant Star
Offered by CAF, Inc. of Newton MA. Price: $45,000. This appears to be a proposed takeoff of a Lincoln Continental Mark.
A letter dated July 3, 1980 informs that "Distant Star is now in production."
The specifications sheet lists a 4-barrel, 350 cu. in. V-8 with automatic transmission, with independent suspension, front and rear, and reinforced fiberglass body construction.

As nicanary and Arunas each provided half of the answer, I have given each of them a point.

I doubt anyone knows what CAF stood for, other than the people involved in that company.
