I get the impression that Buckby is quite a 'basic' engineering company, not quite operating at the McLaren level, so 'Potpourri' is a little too exotic!

Me too (over 75% of all of the baked beans sold in the world by Heinz are sold in the UK!). Delighted to learn I am not the only BBC Radio 4 fan here.
