I think the model name was Straight-Eight. It was basically a badge-engineered Daimler Straight-Eight.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Well, according to some sources this chassis was identified by Lanchester as 30hp, some others call it 4,5 litre (as the caption written on the down side of the quiz picture), some else Straight eight; I don't know which is the most correct definition: Straight Eight sounds like an American definition (they use to call models referring to the kind of engine). Is there someone who can solve my doubts?

I got the info from Georgano - he's not always correct! The only reason I looked it up is because I didn't know that model existed. Apparently King George VI had one.
