That should be Egon Lechner, not him. Just think, who built these type of cars in other countries?

you misunderstood my question. The car was built in Hungary, by a Hungarian. Not Jano Vittorio

Now that is a good guess, but no. Ödön Uher, a film maker built a touring car in the early 1920s and a company was organised to manufacture it, but eventually it did not happen.

Another good guess, but not him. Kálmán Czukor (sometimes referred as Cukor) built a small car in 1929-1930 powered by a motorcycle engine.

Another good guess, but not him either. Andor (or Andras) Hajdu built a cyclecar in 1929

I keep thinking this car is related to MÁG (or perhaps its predecessor Podvinecz & Heisler), but I can't seem to come up with a designer now that Jenô Fejes has been eliminated.  Perhaps Vilmos Heisler, although I don't know if he was a designer.

nothing to do with any Hungarian automobile manufacturer. This was a private effort with a foreign engine.

Ferenc Uhereczky was a bicycle racer who built a small car some time during the 2nd half of the 1920s. Not him.

Soon, this puzzle will be very easily solved. Until then, just think about my clue: who built these types of cars in other countries? What were they sometimes associated with?

Csermely Károly  ;)

If I interpret the google-translated nonsense correctly, it was built by him in 1919/1920 using a 265 hp Benz aero engine.
