Hi Saco:
An excellent puzzle indeed!!
I have not been able to solve it even with a lot of research so I will post what I think I have found so far.
The chassis looks to me like a 1937 Matford truck. The body looks to me like a Hotel Bus but I cannot find which Hotel.
Maybe that will help some other posters and I will keep looking. If I am correct so far, please do not lock it.

My Friend!
You know I do not like guessing, but I have put so much time on this one with no concrete result.
However, I did find that Labourdette made a number of Hotel Bus/Coach bodies over the years. Is it that one?

I'm afraid they were no more active when this bus was built, anyway I say Muhlbacker who made several "fiacre" bodies.
Sorry, I've changed my mind...I guess Gangloff.

Well he did at least one Matford, and this is certainly uncommon enough to be one of his, so: Saoutchik?
