I found a picture where the car is captioned "Alfa Romeo-Nardi 3000 MM"... ???
The car was at 1949 Mille Miglia with Mario Bornigia...
Yes I have also 3000MM ; but I think that you are right !
It's an Alfa -Nardi 6C 2500 SS by Motto ( MM 1949 Bornigia/Pacini )
1 point for Iluvatar :)
Unmodified picture from "Ruoteclassiche" website...

You looked a polish web site ;). Good job, but it's not complet.
Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 (1949) is correct (not SS) but who is the coachbuilder.

Sorry, wasn't able to reply sooner, bussy at work. I haven't looked at a Polish website. I looked at the 1949 results list from the Mille Miglia. This is how it is listed there. I will see if I find some time to do some more digging.
Is it by any chance a Nardi design?
Correct

It seems like it's not a Nardi after all. In Brunori and Curami's book it's written: "At the Mille Miglia, with number 647 was the team Bornigia-Pacini on Alfa Romeo 2500 with a bodywork quite similar to Gurgo Salice's berlinetta (that was by Nardi, ndr). This bodywork was made by Motto as well. These elements created a lot of confusion and some researchers have erroneously thought this was a twin Nardi Alfa Romeo, but it was committed by Bornigia, owner of a big Alfa Romeo dealer in Rome"
