I wondered if it might be a modified version of the Darrin shell which was designed to fit a DKW 3=6 chassis.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Probably not a Monza, but the wheels and the steering wheel look like standard DKW 3=6 ones.

So does the oily smoke behind the car in the puzzle picture. When I first saw the photo I assumed it was dust thrown up by the car.

Dmitri, after you solved this puzzle there was a lot of discussion about your method amongst the Editors.
We are not happy that the way in which you solved it was fair.  You took a picture from my Facebook page and entered it into Goole Search by Image, which led you to the picture of the puzzle car.  This is contrary to the spirit of our site, and for this reason we are giving you a warning: another transgression would mean a ban for a period to be determined.
We hope and trust that will not happen as we value your input to the site greatly, but are sure you will understand our concern that strict fair play must be adhered to at all times.

Dkw based?

It's interesting that "targhediferro" asked this question. There was a John Nicolaides in Canada who raced a DKW 3=6 Monza at Harewood Acres race track in 1959. Could this car be a rebodied and lightened Monza?
I asked if it was based on a Dkw because of the white steering wheel, and the wheels that I connected with a Dkw 1000...I admit I never heard about Nicolaides.
