Looks to me like an Oshkosh MB-5 probably for the US Navy.

Thanks for the point My Friend.  Obviously, it fits in with my general research interest.

Personally, I prefer the older style as in the photo below, an International M-3-4 from the early war years.
Sorry the photo is of a model but it was very well done and had the colour correct.
The caption on the photo is incorrect, it is an M-3-4, not an M-2-4. The M-2-4 had single wheels and tyres on the rear.
Also, here is a period photo of the same type of vehicle in  Olive Drab colour.
